The Getrag gearbox needs a speed sensor and this rear cover replaced there is a crack in the bottom of the cover see pictures.

The speed sensor is located just behind the cover and is directly accessible. The speed sensor is shown here . Other than the cracked cover and the speed sensor, the transmission works perfectly fine. Even the speed sensor isn't an issue the car drove normally when put into manual shift mode.
