The reason I removed it. I had The shifts are quick and strong thanks to the shift kit. Last year, I removed this tyranny from my 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo show car with 48,000 original miles.

This baby is in perfect operating condition. It shifts flawlessly. Two years before that, this tyranny had a b&m shift kit installed. 73 rear gears installed so I knew at highway speeds the teach would be reeving at over 3,000 rpm's so I installed a 700r4 tyranny with overdrive.
